Nursery Hand

Responsibilities:

• Caring for and maintaining the nursery by watering, pruning, and planting a variety of flora.
• Assisting with repotting, soil preparation, and general garden upkeep.
• Monitoring plant health and reporting any issues to management.

Requirements:

• Experience or a strong interest in plant care and horticulture.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a thriving nursery environment.

Chemical Applier

Responsibilities:

• Safely applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemical treatments to ensure optimal plant growth and protection.
• Monitoring and recording chemical usage and plant responses accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience with chemical application in an agricultural or horticultural setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of safe handling, storage, and disposal practices for chemicals.
• Certification or formal training in chemical application and safety procedures is an asset.
