    Description

Bring vibrant colour and wildlife to your garden with Grevillea 'Bonnie Prince Charlie' (Grevillea rosmarinifolia x alpina), a fast-establishing Australian native with a low, neatly spreading habit. This compact shrub features fine, slender foliage inherited from its rosmarinifolia parent and displays a stunning show of small scarlet and yellow claw-shaped flowers from spring to autumn. The long flowering season attracts birds and pollinators, making it ideal for creating a lively garden space.

Perfect for container planting, wildlife gardens, and adding seasonal colour, this hardy variety thrives in full sun and is suited to temperate, Mediterranean, and semi-arid climates. It performs best in regions with lower humidity and is ideal for gardens in Victoria, southern New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania. While considered frost hardy, cold tolerance may vary depending on local conditions.

For best results, plant in free-draining soil; avoid nutrient-rich soils as its parent species naturally thrive in poorer, drier conditions.
